A smooth chocolate bar with a surprising texture. This bar is made from cocoa beans from the social cooperative Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania. A blend of Picual, Koroneiki, Arbosana and Arbequina olive oil varieties from Alentejo, Portugal is incorporated into this bean-to-bar chocolate that brings out floral and fruity notes.
Key Procedures: Olive varieties of Picual, Koroneiki, Arbosana & Arbequina grown in Alentejo, Portugal are cold pressed into single origin olive oil called "Olivais do Sul." At Mellow, we mix the olive oil in gentle amounts in our Kokoa Kamili chocolate to create a chocolate with a completely new mouthfeel. Cocoa formulation: 63% Trinitario cocoa - 10% olive oil.
